Although, not quite as baby-soft as a merino yarn BFL produces a beautiful fabric and is still wearably soft for the majority of people. It's also a very strong yarn so is perfect if you need more hard-wearing socks. It takes colour beautifully and the fleeces are all sourced from small British farms. I currently stock 3 BFL bases.
- BFL/Nylon - a standard twist yarn, perfect for socks and a great alternative to merino/nylon if you need something slightly more durable.
- BFL/Nylon (High-Twist) - the high twist construction gives extra strength and also produces great stitch definition, making it a great base for cables. This is my strongest yarn base.
- 100% BFL (High-Twist) - A great nylon free sock yarn alternative, BFL is a strong fibre and the high-twist construction of this yarn gives even more strength.
