Merino Singles 4ply

This is one of my favourite yarn bases, I love the way the yarn takes speckles. Made of 100% Superwash Merino, my singles are made with one ply of highly twisted yarn. It is beautifully soft and creates a lovely drapey fabric. Because of its structure, it is more prone to pilling than plied yarns but is a fantastic base for shawls and accessories. I wouldn't recommend this base for socks though.
